Summer Time!

Well this last week in Rexburg has been totally miserable. It’s been miserable windy and snowy. I don’t understand why someone would want to live in such a dreadful place. And of course when I called home to tell my Mom how miserable it was, she would then brag to me of the beautiful weather Georgia was experiencing. HOW RUDE. Lol. Love you Mom!

Well this last week we started a new semester, Summer Semester, it really should be called Second Winter Semester, because it’s definitely not summertime here. I am really looking forward to this semester; I am ready to start fresh. I am taking some fun classes like Ballroom Dance, and Confectionary. Culinary Arts is my cluster, a cluster is half a minor. And in my confectionary class I am going to learn how to make cadies, chocolates, caramels, and truffles. I am not going to lie; I am pretty excited about it! I am also looking forward to my dance class. I love dancing; I am just not very good at it. But after this semester I should be a pro, well not quite a pro, but better dancer at least.

Now that it’s a new semester, pretty much all my friends and cousins have left for the summer. Even though I didn’t see any of them very often, it was still nice to run into them every now and again on campus. But I am excited for a new semester to make new friends and meet new people.

So last semester I was really stressed out for various different reasons, and I found myself having trouble reading occasionally. So I took the liberty of getting myself some reading glasses. It’s weird for me because I have never had glasses before. I am getting used to them, but I still don’t know what I think about them. Yes? No? Do I look smart?

And I know you guys are probably getting tired of seeing pictures of my roommates, but I just love them so much! And yesterday we took more pictures of us. I am really going to miss them when I come home in July.

Last weekend I was able to go down to Provo and see Grandma Buttle, it had been over a year since I have seen her, so it was nice to be able to spend some one on one time with her. I was also able to see some friends from home, Ben and Charlie! It was a great weekend, I am glad that I was able to go down and spend some time with them.
