3 days and counting

So I am going down to Utah this weekend to see Ryan!!! I can't wait, it is so hard being away from him, the weekends are especially hard. I'll be sure to return with pictures, as always!

This week I am submitting my application to Southern Utah University, and Ryan is submitting his application to BYU-I. We're giving ourselves options. I checked today to see if Ryan's credits would transfer, and I am still waiting to hear back on three of his classes, but other than that I know for a fact that they all will transfer! So that's great news! We're going to sit down this weekend and look at our options, and see what our best option will be, and what makes the most since. I am really excited, I feel like it's all starting to come together, and I feel so good about it. So we shall see...

Snowboarding!

Yesterday me and Casey went snowboarding. Here are some pictures!

It was a cold day on the mountain, this is my cold face.
And my super excited face! I love snowbording!!!!!!!!

Me and Casey
Casey was happy too...

So yesterday on the mountain, it was really icy because they hadn't gotten snow in over a week. There was this jump, perfect size for me, so I thought I'd try it. That's pretty much all I did last season, and got pretty good at it. But this was my first time trying it this season. And it being icy, I couldn't catch the snow, and that's why I fell. But it was suppose to be a jump I landed. You can just hear how icy it is. Enjoy.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

So as I mentioned last week, I did go down to Utah this weekend to visit Ryan. And my dear Cousin, Katie, is so eager to hear my good news, I promised her I would update before the end of the day.

Well I left Friday early afternoon to head to Sandy, I made it to SLC where I spent half an hour catching up with Kyle. He seems to be doing well, and has made a lot of friends. Half an hour is all I could take because I couldn't handle the anticipation to see Ryan again ANY LONGER. lol.

When I arrived at Ryan's house, much to my surprise his entire family was there. It wasn't a big deal because I had met them all before, but it was just unexpected. I then joined his family for dinner and a fun game of 'Would you Rather'. That night me and Ryan watched Hairspray because he had never seen it, and he served his mission in Baltimore (where the movie was located) and he really wanted to see what it was all about.

Saturday Ryan had a work meeting in Ogden from 9:30 to about 1:30. So we went up there and I dropped him off, and I went and did temple baptisms in the Ogden Temple and then went and did some shopping at the Ogden mall. After that I went and picked him up, and his work took the whole crew (including me) to go sky diving. Now don't be alarmed. It was indoor sky diving. It was like a simulation thing, you got all geared up in your sky diving outfit, and then were placed in this tube with huge fans below you blowing you up. It was fun and a lot harder than it looked. If you didn't keep your body in perfect alignment, you would fall. So I got a certificate that says I have completed the basic flight training course. It was a lot of fun. Ryan has been sky diving for real and said that it wasn't the same adrenaline rush as actual sky diving, but still fun! Sorry, I don't have any pictures from skydiving.

Saturday night we went to Provo and played several fun games of wally ball at BYU with Ryan's cousins. Then after that we went swing dancing at a club there in Provo. We went two weeks ago, and it was a lot of fun. Me and Ryan are getting pretty good, we've picked up on some sweet moves! We've danced together enough now we know how each other moves, so that makes it a lot easier to dance together.

Sunday we went to church, and went down to his cousin's homecoming, she just got home from her mission from Southern California. There I was able to meet what seemed like a million cousins. There is no way I could tell you even one of his cousin's names, there are SO MANY. So I have now met a lot of his cousins on both sides of the family, which has been fun, yet overwhelming. lol. Sunday night we got together with Ryan's family and played Mexican Train till about 11:30. We were all so tired. But it was SO MUCH FUN! I got second place!

Ryan's Grandpa is in the hospital with a staff infection, so Monday morning we went down there to see him and spent an hour or so with visiting him. It's was hard because he looked so healthy, yet he was stuck in this hospital bed. After the hospital we hiked up this canyon right behind his house (just south of Little Cottonwood Canyon if any of you know where that is). It was beautiful! We hiked about halfway up the canyon to this waterfall. Here are some pictures:

You can't really see the falls because they were partly iced over.

Here we are hiking in the mountains, in the snow, in short sleeves...both wearing our matching t-shirts from the cruise! YEAH!

I don't know, just some random pictures taken before we went to play games on Sunday night.

So we were getting ready to take this picture, but then his phone rang, so this is a blooper, but I still thought it was a funny one.

Swing Dancing!!!
So just to give you the 411 because I know Katie is dying to know...as I am sure you all know, Ryan goes to school in Cedar City, 6 hours away...bummer I know. But he's looking into transferring to BYU-I for the Fall of 2009. I am off track in the fall, so I would have to get onto fast grad which would put me done with my classes April of 2010, with only my internship left. As for this Summer, it's still up in the air, I might be going home this summer to do my internship, but that still has a lot of kinks to work out, so I am not sure yet how it's all going to work out. All we know is that we don't want to be apart any longer than we have to be. I'll be sure to keep you updated as plans are made.
Well I seriously need to get back to my homework now. I'll keep you updated.

Christmas Time

Grandpa stuck her in a box
She doens't quite know what to think

She got good at opeing the presents
She likes books
Katie got windshield whippers for Christmas!

Bugs was more interested in the remotes than the presents

MY COMPUTER IS FIXED!!!

After an hour and a half, my good friend Kyle was finally able to fix my computer! He's my new hero! So I talked to Ryan today, and he's got some ambassador's stuff to do this weekend so he won't be able to go home this weekend *tear. It's probably for the best, we are going to have to try really hard to not let our relationship interfere with our studies. But it sure is going to be a long semester with out him.

So as you all know, last week I was able to spend a lot of time with Ryan, first can I just say he is so wonderful to me, and treats me like a princess!!!

Anyways, Monday Ryan came to pick me up at Grandma Buttle's house to take me to his place to meet his family have FHE with his family. His family was so welcoming and nice to me. His Mom reminds me a lot of Aunt Janelle, and his Dad is my Dad's identical twin when it come to personality, it's actually quite funny. We ate dinner and played a fun game.

On Tuesday Ryan took me down to Spanish Fork and we hiked up to some hot springs, it was just over an hour long hike, but it was a beautiful day and it was a lot of fun to spend one-on-one time with Ryan. That night he took me up to Temple Square to look at the lights, that was a lot of fun!

Wednesday morning we (Dad, Casey, Kyle, me and Ryan) got up early and went to the Salt Lake Temple to do Baptisms. It was so special. I was able to get baptised for a lady Ryan taught on his mission. I've never had the chance to do that before. Then that day we went back to Grandma Buttle's and hung out and built a Snow Man in Grandma's back yard. His name is lumpy or lumpsters, which ever, he goes by both.

Thursday we all went snowboarding, sad thing is we all whimped out early but Ryan. It was all our first time back on the slopes since last season so we were a bit rusty. Ryan was very patient and didn't mind taking a rest with us.
Me and Ryan spent Friday morning together doing much of nothing, throwing the frisbee, and finishing Lumpsters. Ryan had to go down to school for an ambassadors thing Friday night, but thankfully he was back by early Saturday afternoon!

Saturday night Ryan took me down to Provo to go swing dancing, that was a lot of fun! I love dancing, I am just not very good at it. Sunday I was able to go to church with his family and see his Nephew get blessed, and he is a cutie. Then Sunday afternoon I had to say by to Ryan and head up to Idaho. So sad, I didn't cry, well at least not until Monday.

So anyways, I don't get to see him this weekend, but next weekend I DO! One week from TOMORROW! I think we can do it, at least that's what I am going to keep telling myself.

So I'll stop talking now, here are the pictures:

Here's Lumpsters

Kisses, I was actually kissing him, my lips got so cold, Ryan on the other hand really isn't, what a cheap-o...lol

Temple Square

I look like poo..but isn't he such a cutie!

I think this is really cool with the reflection

Ya so, I didn't make it in the picture

Here are the hot springs, it's foggy because of the steam.

Oh isn't he just so darn cute!

ONLY 2 DAYS

So I lied, I talked to Ryan tonight, and we're probably getting together THIS weekend...and NEXT! He just couldn't wait any longer to see me!!!

Missing Ryan

So all last week I had the pleasure of spending literally every waking moment with Ryan...a.k.a...Howie, that's his nick name, everyone calls him that but me, but I am picking up on it. He goes by either. I do have some pictures to put up, but until I can get my computer's Internet fixed, there won't be any pictures. So let's home it gets fixed ASAP. Me and Ryan hit it off, which was expected, I had to say goodbye to him on Sunday, and I've only been away from him for 3 days now, and I've just been so sad. It's been really hard. I have no idea how my roommate Allie did and entire semester away from her fiance. Life is hard. lol. I am counting down the days till I get to see him again...9 days and counting!!! Well I'll be back as soon as I get my computer up and running, which will hopefully be tonight! Love you all!
