Meet Joe

So I want you guys to meet Joe...

This is Joe, he's from California and is majoring in Communications, he has been in my ward all year, and it took a blind date for us to meet. Funny huh?

We have been seeing each other a lot lately, so who knows what time will bring...

This weekend I am going back down to Idaho Falls to spend the weekend with Karli's family, it's going to be fun, so I'll be back with more pictures I am sure, so keep checking in. Love you guys!

Chocolate syrup slip-n-slide

So this weekend has been so fun! Me and my roommates when to Karli's house in Idaho Falls and stayed there for the weekend. We first started our Saturday of by getting up early and going to the temple. Then we headed down to Idaho Falls where we had breakfast/lunch with Karli's family. I really love Karli's family, they are so welcoming to us, and I appreciate it so much. We had a chocolate Syrup slip-n-slide with whipcream. It was pretty much amazing. Here are some pictures, Karli's dad, A.K.A. the Bishop, got some better pictures. Bishop says that he'll put them on a CD for us, so when I get that, I'll post them!

So, this is after we got all cleaned up, we decided to come outside and take some action shots on the trampoline!

So when we got tired with that, Karli took me and Lisa to the local High School parking lot and taught us how to drive a stick shift. Me and Lisa's frist time ever. It was pretty sweet. I told Karli that I feel like I got the hang of it, I am just not confident in myself yet. So I am going to continue to practice, and by the time I come home in a month, I am going to be pro! I think everyone needs to know how to drive a stick, and I've never had the opportunity to do so at home, so I am taking advatage of it out here while I can!

So this is a 1979 corvette, Bishops car, it's pretty sweet, it's a stick. So Karli and and Lisa drove it, I told Bishop that I wasn't ready to drive it, but maybe some other time, but Bishop took me for a ride in it, it's totally old school. It was freakin' sweet!

We ended up staing the night at Karli's house, we slep outside on the trampoline, let's just say my back is extreamly stiff today. But it was fun, and it was a beautiful night! Next weekend, Karli's mom already is making big plans for us. So we're going to be spending next weekend down in Idaho Falls next weekend too! Going to go to Tara's(Karli's sister) bridal shower, and then go out on the boat! Now that it's finally gotten warm here in Idaho, we have to take advantage of it, we only have 4 weeks left till I go home. So we're going to stay pretty busy the next few weekends I think.

Well I should go get ready for church, but I love you guys!

Life is Hard

Welp I really don't have a whole lot to say, but just wanted to drop in and say a little hello. Life is hard, something that I haven't gotten used to yet, but dealing with it. School is starting to really pick up, it being the end of the semester and all, my teachers are like holy crap we've gotta do this and this and this and this and this...ect. So pretty much for the next few weeks I am going to be doing homework and taking test and all the other fun things that come along with school.

Oh, some good news...two weekends ago I went on my first date all semester (lame I know). But it was pretty fun, one that Katie set me up with. Then last week/weekend I had three dates. Something totally unexpected and random. Well of those three dates, there's potential in one of them. So we'll see how things will work out. It's just hard because the end of the semester is coming up so fast and I am going to be going home, and it has just been a really long time since I have had an interest in anyone so I feel like a dubmy...but I'll get back into the swing of things pretty quickly I think/hope. lol.

Well that's pretty much all for now. I've got an exciting weekend planned with my roomies, so next week I'll be back with more pictures! (hopefully) Love you all!

Just a little catch up

So we had these two kittens left on our door step one day. They spent the night with us for one night then we had no choice but to take them to the pound. It was sad because they were so cute, but me and Karli were allergic to them and couldn't have them in our apartment.

So have I ever said that we really like each other? Well, we do! I was sick this day, and that's why I have like my whole bed with me on the couch, Lisa and Karli decided to come and join me. The sad thing is the next day Lisa was extreamly sick and Karli wasn't feeling very well. I am glad that we're all over it. We all had our share of the stomach virus.
