Georgia on my Mind

Well I made it to Georgia! I am really sad, I had to say good-bye to several people, some of which I don't know if I will ever see again. So it was really hard for me. This last year I was able to get really close to my roommates, Lisa and Karli, and saying bye to them was really hard. I also had several really good friends that I had to say good-bye too. And on top of that, my great-grandmother was in the hospital in Idaho Falls when I left, and I don't suspect to see her again, and that was really sad for me.

But on top of all that, I really am excited to be home. I start work on Monday and am ready to have a pay check again! I don't forsee myself having much of a social life for the next 5 months. So don't be expecting much from me on here. I am going white water rafting this Saturday, in October I plan on seeing the play Wicked, and in November I am going on a cruise, and with a lot of luck, hopefully making a trip out to Idaho sometime between then to see Karli and Lisa. So other than that, my life is dull...lol. Welp gotta go!

Cookies gone bad

So...these are cookies...well at least that's what they were suppose to be. So Sunday night I had a lot of energy, Kyle and Branden were over, and I suddenly was in the mood for cookies. Branden said he would make cookies if I went stadium singing. So we pinky promised. Well me and Lisa went visiting teaching and left the boys home to finish the cookies...and when I get home I see this pan of bubbling cookies in the oven, I pulled them out and took a picture.
The truth is that I mixed everything together because we didn't have any butter, so the boys were out asking all the girls in the complex if they had any butter, and I measured out 3/4 cups of flour and put it on the counter before we left to go visiting teaching. Well when the boys got back to finish the cookies, they put the butter in and the 3/4 cups of flour in thinking that I had measured out the right amount of flour, when in fact 3/4 cups was less than half of what the recipe called for. If they would have looked at the recipe that would have noticed that more flour was needed. Boys are just really silly sometimes. But it was hysterical, I couldn't stop laughing.

So this is Kyle...I blame it on him
Branden me and Kyle...notice how Kyle is pointing at me...
So I made this, and it is 100% edible.
It's a fruit basket, I had to make it for my project.
It's even strong enough to carry like a basket

ONE MORE WEEK

I am so super-duperly sad to leave Rexburg, but am so fantastically excited to go home! Pretty much the same as last year. I am so tired of school and just need a stinkin' break. But I have nearly no friends at home, and it's just going to be sad.

Welp I've got some pictures for ya, but I am really busy today and don't know if I'll get around to it, but I'll get them up here as soon as I can. Love You!

Randomness

So this is a joke that we have with Ann, our Apartment Manager. First of all, she's pretty much terrible, and I really really really REALLY don't like her...to say the least. I have my reasons, but won't bore you with the details. So on the right is Ann's car, and on the left is Joe's car, both Manager parking spots only. Well Ann and her husband only have one car, so why does she need two spots reserved for her? Ummm...because she's selfish and because she can. So Joe parks in her spot a lot just to drive her nuts, I think it's fantastic! So Joe is going to e-mail this picture to Ann to let her know that he parked in her spot, she'll most likely flip, but it'll be really funny. Did I mention that I didn't like Ann? Cause I don't...lol.

So I made this tuxedo strawberry in my cooking class the other day. Isn't it pretty!?!? I love that class, and am looking forward to taking more cooking classes in the future.

Well really there isn't anything new to share, tomorrow is my last day to teach Sunday School, and I am actually kind of sad about it. I'll be home in 2 weeks, and I am excited to go home, but sad to leave all at the same time. Welp that's all for now! Love ya!
