4 more days to be a Buttle

Look at me, I am making a post. This is mostly because I have been studying for I don't know, some insane amount of hours now. I am so tired and want to pass out right now. School is the last thing on my mind right now. Both Ryan and I are having a hard time focusing on our school work, which is bad because we're both really busy this week. I have two tests tomorrow, then one Wednesday, a quiz on Thursday, plus all the homework assignments I have on top of all that. The worse part is these test can either make it or break it for me, meaning it's a matter of me passing the classes or not.

So just pray that I will be able to make it through these next few days. Once I can make it through the next few days, life will become so much less complicated. Not only will I not have a wedding to stress about, but the semester will start winding down!!! This semester has just been so awful, I am so ready to have it behind me.

Well I better get back to studying. I'll see some of you this weekend, and the rest of you next month!

Update

Well I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to even think about updating my blog. I am sitting here eating lunch at the new cafeteria at BYU-I called the Crossroads, and and bowl of soup is to hot to eat right now. This is about as much down time that I have had since school started. Both me and Ryan have been so busy with school. But thankfully Ryan has dropped one of his classes, so I will actually have a chance to see him now. He's taking some hard classes, Physics, Calculus, and Accounting. He was taking a Chemistry class, but he dropped that one! And as for me, I am taking 12 credits of 400 level business classes. And I am really going to learn a lot this semester, but it is going to keep me so busy. It's frustrating because my teachers are giving me these complicated excell assignments, and I have only taken that required computer class which taught us the 101 of excel. So I am learning as I go, visiting tutors, and attempting to find study groups. Every study group that I have tried to study with has failed on me, everyone...we set a time to meet, and I am the only one who shows up, it's the most frustrating thing. Our teachers encourage us to work together, and I am trying, but it's hard when my group doesn't fall through.

Well on to better things, I AM GETTING MARRIED IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS!!!
Me and Ryan have officially seen each other everyday for the last Month or so (that's the longest time we have spent together). And we still like each other!!! We met with the Bishop the other night and he said something that bothered me, he pretty much warned us that people in our situation start hating each other when they finally have the chance to be together. That really bothered me, I was like how dare you think that we're going to hate each other. My Bishop is bold and doesn't seem to think before he speaks. He shares what's on his mind no matter how hurtful it might be to the other person.

But anyways, it has been so good having Ryan here with me this semester, he's a huge support, and when I am about to break down because I don't know how to do my homework, he calms me down. We are both so excited to finally get married, it is so hard to find a quite place together. We say prayers together every night and have been since the beginning of summer, but we can't find a quite place here to say prayers together. We've tried the car, but there's always people out in the parking lot, so it's really not that quiet. And saying them at the apartment, you never know who is going to walk in. So we've started saying our prayers in a little study room in the library. That seems to be the only quiet place we can find to say prayer. Last night he made me dinner, and a rule here at BYU-I is that we can't be in the same apartment together unless someone else is home. Well no one was home at his apartment last night for dinner, so I was suppose to come in. Some of these rules here are good, but some I think are a bit overboard. We have not had a time alone since school started, and that's hardest part. If we want to talk, we have to go for a walk or sit in the car, it's terrible.

Only 58 more days, and then we won't have these problems!!! It's going to be great!!!

Well, we're going down to Utah this weekend for Ryan's cousins wedding, I am so jealous, they met like 3 months ago and got engaged 2 months ago. Geeze, if that was the case for me and Ryan we'd be past our 6 month anniversary. CRAZY!

Well I must go and get back to work. I'll hopefully be back soon.

Bye Bye Georgia

Well it's been a fun few weeks being home, but unfortuanely it must come to an end. Me and Ryan start our journey back west early Monday morning. I am excited to get back out to school and finally live in the same state as Ryan, yet alone the same city!!! But I am sad about the whole school thing, I have a feeling it's going to be a very busy sumester for both me and Ryan, but staying busy will keep the days going fast! We're now down under three months till we get married!! We're both so excited and feel like time couldn't be any slower.

It's been fun being home, I don't have any pictures to share, but check my Mom's blog and Katie's blog out, they've got pictures!

Car Accident

Me and Casey were driving home from school and we were in the middle of Wyoming. For those of you familiar with Wyoming, we were just past Rawlins. Casey hit the bumpy strips on the side of the road, and way over corrected himself and the car went into a tail spin and then the car flipped 3 1/2 times. We both walked away from this terrible accident unharmed. We've both been sick to our stomachs, and I have a few small bruises, but that's all. We are so lucky to be alive, yet alone with out major injuries.
The tow truck company took us to a Motel in Saratoga Wyoming, a tiny little town about 40 miles off the interstate. There we tried to sleep, but I think we both got about 2 hours. In the morning, Bishop Powell, the bishop in Saratoga came and picked us up and took us to the car to get all of our stuff out of the car, and then took us back to his house (10 miles outside of town). There we spent the afternoon, had lunch and got all of our stuff organized. Later he drove us the 80 miles to Larmie WY where we had a flight out of in the morning. He took us to a FedEx store to ship some bags and and then dropped us off at our Hotel.
Saturday morning we were able to take a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We finally made it in to Atlanta that evening, without our bags. But thankfully they shipped our bags to our house the next afternoon. So to stay the least, we're greatful to be home and alive!

Finals

Well school gets out a week from TODAY!!! Can I just say waking up this morning and knowing it was Thursday and knowing that I only had a week to go could have been one of the happiest moments I have ever experienced!!! These last few weeks have been extremely difficult for me, not only am I so over school, but I so terribly just want to get out of this place and finally go home! I not only want school to be over, but I want to be home with my family, and of course my wonderful Fiancee!!! I get to see him in 9 days!!! We're finally down into single digits!!!

Well finals actually aren't killing me too bad this semester, I have a total of 6 finals, but I have already taken four of them this week, so next week I only have 2 more to take. The semester is coming to a close quickly, and I can't believe I made it. Next time I am out here in Rexburg, RYAN WILL BE WITH ME EVERYDAY!!!

I don't know if any of you have realized, but we have never lived in the same state together, yet alone the same city. I fingered out that the most days that we have spent together is 6 days and this happened on 3 different occasions (including the cruise). Pretty sad huh? I have no idea how it's worked out, but it has, it must be Love!

Welp it's just a quick update, I've gotta run to class now...see ya!

Engagement

Well it's official!! I know its probably not a huge surprise to most of you, but I can now tell you that Ryan and I are getting married on November 21st in the Draper Utah Temple!!! We have known that we were going to get married for a few months now, and it's exciting now that it's official!

I was able to go to North Carolina and spend some time with him and Tyler and Katie and Kendalynn this last week. I had a great time and it was really hard to come back to Rexburg.

So just to share the story with you guys on how he proposed. Well as I am sure you all know, we met on a cruise, and we both like scuba diving. On Thursday we drove to the coast and went diving. We dove two ship wrecks. On the first dive, it was fine, we were at the bottom of the ship (in the ship) and I was off exploring. And I turned around to see where he was at, and he told me to come here. As I approached him I could see that he had a sea shell in his hand. And I was thinking oh nice, you found a shell, good for you. But didn't think anything of it. Well then he opened the shell, and there was the ring. He then had these little cards taped up so he could take them under water and it said "Kara Marie Buttle will you marry me?" I started hyperventilating and shook my head yes.

Later on I come to find out that he had a couple of different ideas of how he wanted to propose, but he decided to do it this way so he didn't have to say anything. He's so funny. He knew he would probably stumble over his words so this way he got out of it. So sneaky.

So here are a few pictures from my trip.

Me and Katie have the same shirt

Kendalynn

And here's the ring, both Me and Ryan's favorite part is the suspended diamond.

This is at the Duke Gardens, they were so pretty!

This was taken the night we got engaged, right before we went to bed, so we look really tired.

On our way home from diving, I think it's funny that Ryan looks like a little boy in this picture, with his long hair not done. We cut it for him that night. We as in Me and Katie!
