Car Accident

Me and Casey were driving home from school and we were in the middle of Wyoming. For those of you familiar with Wyoming, we were just past Rawlins. Casey hit the bumpy strips on the side of the road, and way over corrected himself and the car went into a tail spin and then the car flipped 3 1/2 times. We both walked away from this terrible accident unharmed. We've both been sick to our stomachs, and I have a few small bruises, but that's all. We are so lucky to be alive, yet alone with out major injuries.
The tow truck company took us to a Motel in Saratoga Wyoming, a tiny little town about 40 miles off the interstate. There we tried to sleep, but I think we both got about 2 hours. In the morning, Bishop Powell, the bishop in Saratoga came and picked us up and took us to the car to get all of our stuff out of the car, and then took us back to his house (10 miles outside of town). There we spent the afternoon, had lunch and got all of our stuff organized. Later he drove us the 80 miles to Larmie WY where we had a flight out of in the morning. He took us to a FedEx store to ship some bags and and then dropped us off at our Hotel.
Saturday morning we were able to take a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We finally made it in to Atlanta that evening, without our bags. But thankfully they shipped our bags to our house the next afternoon. So to stay the least, we're greatful to be home and alive!

Finals

Well school gets out a week from TODAY!!! Can I just say waking up this morning and knowing it was Thursday and knowing that I only had a week to go could have been one of the happiest moments I have ever experienced!!! These last few weeks have been extremely difficult for me, not only am I so over school, but I so terribly just want to get out of this place and finally go home! I not only want school to be over, but I want to be home with my family, and of course my wonderful Fiancee!!! I get to see him in 9 days!!! We're finally down into single digits!!!

Well finals actually aren't killing me too bad this semester, I have a total of 6 finals, but I have already taken four of them this week, so next week I only have 2 more to take. The semester is coming to a close quickly, and I can't believe I made it. Next time I am out here in Rexburg, RYAN WILL BE WITH ME EVERYDAY!!!

I don't know if any of you have realized, but we have never lived in the same state together, yet alone the same city. I fingered out that the most days that we have spent together is 6 days and this happened on 3 different occasions (including the cruise). Pretty sad huh? I have no idea how it's worked out, but it has, it must be Love!

Welp it's just a quick update, I've gotta run to class now...see ya!

Engagement

Well it's official!! I know its probably not a huge surprise to most of you, but I can now tell you that Ryan and I are getting married on November 21st in the Draper Utah Temple!!! We have known that we were going to get married for a few months now, and it's exciting now that it's official!

I was able to go to North Carolina and spend some time with him and Tyler and Katie and Kendalynn this last week. I had a great time and it was really hard to come back to Rexburg.

So just to share the story with you guys on how he proposed. Well as I am sure you all know, we met on a cruise, and we both like scuba diving. On Thursday we drove to the coast and went diving. We dove two ship wrecks. On the first dive, it was fine, we were at the bottom of the ship (in the ship) and I was off exploring. And I turned around to see where he was at, and he told me to come here. As I approached him I could see that he had a sea shell in his hand. And I was thinking oh nice, you found a shell, good for you. But didn't think anything of it. Well then he opened the shell, and there was the ring. He then had these little cards taped up so he could take them under water and it said "Kara Marie Buttle will you marry me?" I started hyperventilating and shook my head yes.

Later on I come to find out that he had a couple of different ideas of how he wanted to propose, but he decided to do it this way so he didn't have to say anything. He's so funny. He knew he would probably stumble over his words so this way he got out of it. So sneaky.

So here are a few pictures from my trip.

Me and Katie have the same shirt

Kendalynn

And here's the ring, both Me and Ryan's favorite part is the suspended diamond.

This is at the Duke Gardens, they were so pretty!

This was taken the night we got engaged, right before we went to bed, so we look really tired.

On our way home from diving, I think it's funny that Ryan looks like a little boy in this picture, with his long hair not done. We cut it for him that night. We as in Me and Katie!

Random

So, I've got a few things to share with you guys!!! A few uneventful things. But enjoy:

I MADE THIS!!!! Isn't that pretty!!! I was pretty proud of myself I am not going to lie!!! My first real cake, and it turned out so good!!!

This is where I got the idea from...

It was my roommates birthday!!! She turns 20 on Sunday!! Happy Birthday Janelle!

**************************
And this is me...Counting down the days till I get to see Ryan!
We're down to 4 days!!!
**************************

So get this...my friend, Ben...woke me up and made me get out of bed at like 10:30...lame I know...but that's besides the point. He came over to give me this plant...
Would you say that's pretty much DEAD??? I sure would. He told me it was my job to give this plant some TLC. So what did I do, I watered it, I put it in the sun, and watered again, and did everything I needed to keep it alive. It never got better than this. I failed, but wouldn't you say this plan was past the point of no return?
**************************

Another story...Me and my roommate, Janelle, a few weeks ago wanted to make something, it was Friday night, and neither of us had plans, big surprise (at least for me). So we found this cake recipe online. A one serving cake recipe you make in the microwave in a mug. And this is what I got from it. It was a lot of fun, and actually quite good!

So close

I pulled out my handy dandy calander today, and guess what!!!! Only 15 more days until I get to see the Love of my life!!!

We enjoy doing so many things together:

We love playing in the snow

Going for hikes

This is the first day we spent almost the entire day together on the cruise.

And he loves to take me for a bike ride. I say that because I slow him down so much it's not even considered a bike ride for him.
Oh boy 15 days, and then after that, only 30 more days till the end of the semester!!! Oh I am so excited!!!

Announcing...

So again I must say, I HAVE THE CUTEST NIECE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! Katie put more pictures on facebook, and she is unable to put them on her blog so I though I would share them again, I hope that's ok Katie!?

Boy do I love her!!!

Such a pretty little girl

Modeling

Precious

I just thought this was hilarious!!!

I am excited to announce some good news for a change. I appreciate all of your prayers and your support. I have officially been accepted onto fast grad and will not be going home this fall. I will be living out West pretty much till further notice. lol. I now only have a million other things to do ASAP like Register for classes, figure out Ryan's credits, and what transfers and what doesn't. Housing for next semester, all on top of a hundred different assignments due for class. These last three days have been so stressful for me, probably some of the most stressful ever. I'm just thankful that tomorrow is Thursday, which means Friday is almost here, which means that a four day week end is right around the corner!!! Even though I don't have anything going on for the weekend, mostly just doing whatever the heck I feel like with nobody, I am going to greatly enjoy it!!!
Well as for Ryan, he's in North Carolina selling, doing pretty well too. But he's getting sick and working too hard and not getting the sleep he needs. But we're excited to see each other in only 28 more days!!! That's really doesn't sound to bad huh!!! I can do it!!! I have to do it!!!
Well I should go I have a million and one things to do still before I go to bed...

Just when I thought the end was in sight...

The last week has been really tough for me. So I am going to vent...if your looking for a happy go lucky post, stop reading...cause this is not going to be pretty...I am frustrated, so frustrated...

First of all I got laid off of my job in Georgia because of the economy, so now when I am home (however long it might be), I don't have a job. So if you know of anybody who is looking for work for probably 6 weeks this summer, please let me know!!! I'll do most anything!

Second, BYU-I is DUMB DUMB DUMB, I can't emphasize it enough...DUMB I SAY...DUMB... So Ryan applied for BYU-I for the Fall/Winter track and I was going to get onto fast grad so we could be out here together. Well first of all BYU-I was not helpful to Ryan in figuring out his classes and such, and second of all they're saying that I can't get onto fast grad. I was going to go home this summer and work at the job that I don't have anymore and do my internship with them, but now that Ryan is in the pictures plans changed. So I was going to finish up my classes as soon as possible so I could do my internship next summer where ever we might be. But Brother Bell (Business Management Chair) said that I can't do my internship last, I have to do it before I finish my classes. Well in order for me to do that would mean that I am away from Ryan this Fall and next Summer, and I am sorry but that isn't even an option in my book. I will drop out of school before I spend another semester away from him. One of the only logical options in this case is for me to find a pre-approved internship for NEXT summer that he will pass off on before he signs my fast grad papers...so Brother Bell is on my 'people who are dead to me' list...

Thirdly, why is it if something is right, and you know it's right, why is it things just don't work out? Why does Heavenly Father have to have different plans for you than you're expecting? Why does he make us work so hard for something so wonderful?

I have a testimony of the gospel, and I keep telling myself that I know it's all going to work out for the better, I just don't know how, and that is so hard for me to not know. Just please pray for me that doors will open and that things will work out the way Heavenly Father intended for them to. And pray that I will have the determination to finish school, because right now I have none, dropping out is sounding better and better, and I am willing to do that if it comes to that, because I refuse to be away from Ryan any longer, it's not even an option, I won't even consider it. My education is important to me, and I cherish it, and I want to finish, but I am not willing to make the sacrifice Brother Bell is asking me to make for it.

39 days

So my sister-in-law's blog is all messed up or something and it's really temperamental and doesn't allow her to put pictures up, so here are a few pictures I thought I would share of Kendalynn, cause she is so stinkin' cute...she by far beats every other little girl.

This is her little cousin Eli, he's quite a bit younger than she is, but he looks like they're the same size.

She is growing up so fast, I can't wait to see her in 39 days!!!

So last weekend I was able to spend it with Ryan and his family. It was our last weekend together. We had to say goodbye, I won't see him until June 17 (in 39 days)...not that I am counting or anything. But I got myself a plane ticket, and I am going to brag about it cause it was a steal. A round trip ticket on Delta from Idaho Falls to North Carolina for $300...I was so excited!!! So now I have something to look forward to!!! Well now that Ryan is gone my blog might become quite boring, cause I am not going to be doing much of anything other than school and hangin with grandma on the weekends!!! I am taking 17 credits this semester, so I am going to be staying very busy, which is good because that just means this semester will go by that much faster!!!

The last three days I have been camping at Badger Creek which is at the base of the Tetons. I had to go there for one of my classes and participate in all these team building exercises. It was a lot of fun and did a lot of activities that I had never done before, but we had all kinds of weather, rain, snow, sun, wind, cold, but never hot...It was fun, but I am sure glad to be back home and sleeping in my own bed.

Boy do I miss him
